ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

  • CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE 0.30%-oral antiseptic
  • GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT – fruit acid source
  • INOSITOL – vitamin B complex that is essential to protect healthy cells and faster regenerate and heal periodontal soft tissues
  • ZINC CITRATE – has a strong germicidal action intensifying the general antibacterial effect of the products
  • VP/VA COPOLYMER – synthetic polymer ensuring good adhesion of the products on the periodontal surface as film and guaranteeing the target and long-lasting action of the active ingredient Chlorhexidine Digluconate.

 

Scientifically formulated Oromucosal Spray with Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.30%, Inositol and grapefruit seed extract was developed as an aid in the treatment and prevention of gingivitis and in the maintenance of oral hygiene, particularly in situations where tooth brushing cannot be adequately employed e.g., following oral surgery, in physically or mentally handicapped patients, the terminally ill or immunocompromised patients.

Spray Oromucosal RAPID 30 RED GRAPEFRUIT is effective in the treatment of many common dental conditions.

The active ingredient is chlorhexidine digluconate which is an antibacterial agent that reduces the formation of dental plaque and is used to:

  • Treat and prevent gum disease (gums may bleed when brushed)
  • Promote gum healing after dental surgery or treatment
  • Control mouth ulcers
  • Maintain oral hygiene
  • Manage oral thrush and denture sore mouth
  • Emergency treatment of aphthous ulceration and oral candida infections (e.g., denture stomatitis and thrush).

USE

DIRECTIONS

  • Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • Remove cap and fit the pump head to the bottle.
  • Use up to 5 pump actions twice daily
  • Spray tooth and gum surfaces, ulcers or other sore areas. Remove the pump head after use and replace cap.
  • Gum disease: One month course (one to two spray packs) is recommended.
  • Mouth ulcers and oral thrush: Continue to use for 2 days after healing has occurred.
  • Denture sore mouth: Dentures should also be cleaned and then sprayed with Oromucosal Spray RAPID 30 RED GRAPEFRUIT
  • Dental surgery: Use as directed by your dentist. If your symptoms persist, see your dentist.

 

  • Spray 1 to 2 times on damaged or inflamed areas immediately after surgical treatment or as emergency therapy
  • In case of emergency therapy, use after brushing or rinsing
  • Don’t rinse with water
  • Use for 7 days, if necessary or as indicated by your dental professional or healthcare provider.

CAUTION

  • Avoid smoking and colouring products (tea, coffee, red wine, etc.) within 1 hour (60 minutes) after using oral rinse aid
